The supported functions are the renovation of the old station, the 1936 fire engine, the fire department's annual open house, and other community functions. At the Williams Fire Department
The Williams Fire Department Support Team is a non-profit organization under the umbrella of the fire department that serves the department as a structure of support during times when the internal structure needs more capable hands for everyday projects when the department is dispatched.
Are you able to offer a special talent? Are you a business owner needing to devote your time to a local cause? Do you have creative ideas that you would like to see talked about? The times are far and few, fortunately, that the department is dispatched to a local fire that lasts longer than average. However, the example of the Pacifica fire is a time when the Support Team was able to provide ample support to Williams Fire and Rescue. We are looking to grow as a structure and there are many talents that can be utilized by the department for fire situations and more.
The Support Team meets monthly. Come to one of our meetings to learn more!
